Both Fizzy Friends and Simple & Clean are original brands I created to explore different label styles.
About Fizzy Friends: Fizzy Friends is a soda brand centered around different animal mascots. The bottle above is the strawberry-flavored soda, also known as the Strawbeary flavor. The animal mascot associated with this flavor is a bear. I knew that I wanted the branding for Fizzy Friends to have a cute and stylized look rather than a photorealistic or typographic look. This distinguishes the brand from other USA-based soda brands.
About Simple & Clean: Simple & Clean is a soap brand specializing in rich body washes. To contrast Fizzy Friends, I wanted to create a label utilizing photographic elements. I used royalty-free photographs from Envato.com to create the background and the small graphic in the center of the label.
The Technology: Both bottles and their labels were created in Adobe Illustrator using Esko's label function. I created the mockups of the bottles in Esko's Studio function. All artwork was created by me for this project.
