I take a lot of inspiration from the natural beauty of plants. When I took up this project, I knew that I wanted to capture that beauty and allow it to shine. While these photos are only a small portion of those included in the photobook, they are by far my favorite.
The technology: After I captured the photos, they were imported and edited with Adobe Lightroom. I wanted to accentuate the natural colors of each plant and make them pop. Then I imported the files into Adobe InDesign and formatted them for printing. Once I printed the photos, I placed them into a plastic spine and bound them together.
All photos were taken at Buchanan's Native Plants, a plant nursery located in Houston, Texas.
